The Kingstec Campus Learning Centre has recently won a Nova Scotia award for quality, and it is easy to see why. The staff are friendly, attentive, and buy into the Emilia Reggio approach that children learn through play. The ratios are government mandated, and the fees are lower than most day cares in the area. The hightly secure outdoor playground is the jewel of the extensive facilities, and my daughter just cannot wait to get outside! The meals are nutritious, innovative, and appeal to the children; the smell of breakfast cooking during mealtime makes me want to stay with my daughter and share. The Executive Director is highly organised, respectful to parents and supportive of her energetic staff, and is always available if there are any concerns. I highly recommend sending your child to this day care, and the whole family will benefit from the experience.
